Deborah Boldero

Chair of Governors

Role: Staff well-being

I am a retired Primary teacher and taught in Devon & London before moving to Norfolk in 1987. I became a Parent governor when my eldest daughter was in year 8 and have remained with the Board since then. I have been involved in the transformation of Reepham High School from an 11 -16 institution to its current position as a 11- 18 School & College, an Academy within Synergy Multi-Academy Trust, of which I am a Director. During the academic year, I interact with pupils and students, individually and in groups by singing in the Choir, accompanying school visits and supporting the College Enrichment Programme in Dragons’ Den and Yr 12 Mock interviews as well as attending Concerts, Plays etc. I am committed to providing the best possible learning and extra-curricular opportunities for all children within RHSC and to offset the disadvantages of our rural location.

Since retiring, I have joined a walking group and rekindled my love of archaeology by taking part in the Aylsham Roman Project. I am a vol-unteer in the School & Family Learning department at Norwich Cathedral and a member of Haveringland Church Action group.

I maintain my Primary connections as a DNEAT Trust governor at Cawston C. of E. Primary Academy, a feeder school.

Our Schools

Synergy Multi-Academy Trust comprises fifteen Norfolk schools serving children between the ages of 2 and 18. Our schools work collaboratively together to raise standards and provide education of the highest possible standard, offering the best of opportunities for pupils. The Trust was initially established in 2015. We believe that all of our schools have strengths and areas to develop, and that all can improve through sharing expertise and wisdom. The Trust understands that there will be excellent practice in each school, and that every school will be able to contribute to the development of the Trust as a whole.
