Synergy Multi-Academy Trust is made up of schools, both secondary and primary, from north Norfolk. The Trust was initially established by Reepham High School and College in 2015. Our vision is simple; for all of our schools to work together to provide teaching and learning of the highest quality and for all of them to provide an exceptional range of educational experiences and opportunities.
BBC News Report
BBC School Report is a journalism project for students aged 11 to 18 across the UK.
The student teams make the news and upload it to their school's dedicated page and then the BBC link to the page via their interactive map. This means that the news is accessible to a worldwide BBC audience. The BBC showcase the work of School Reporters across BBC programmes in the UK on News Day which is Thursday, 15 March 2018.
Reepham High School and College is taking part for the sixth consecutive year with a team of 16 x Year 9 reporters and a staff team of Miss Soanes, Mrs Osborne, Mr Frankland and our BBC mentor Bob Carter.
Please make a note of the link to the page and visit on the day when we will be uploading the Reepham High School & College reports and photographs of the day.
For 2018, our dedicated BBC News School Report team of 16 Year 9s, delivered a report on the different aspects of life at a rural school. This included topics on the environment, teenage mental health, transport and the allotment project within the school.

Visit to BBC Studios in Norwich
Our 16 news reporters were lucky enough to have a visit to the BBC studios at The Forum in Norwich to learn about how the news is reported for real. They got to see the Look East TV studio and control room and also one of the studios from which Radio Norfolk is broadcast. There was also a question and answer session with some BBC producers including Bob Carter who worked with our reporters over several weeks to help them produce their own news reports.
