Reepham College hits new heights in performance

Reepham High School & College is delighted to have received confirmation that the A Level results of our students have put us in the top 1% of schools nationally.

Each year Advanced Level Performance Systems (ALPs) provides schools and colleges with a detailed analysis of A Level performance against 2,890 schools and colleges across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

ALPs uses three key principles:

  • The simple idea that each of us is an individual and needs to be valued. Subsequently their performance analysis looks at every single student and assesses their progress, rather than simply look at headline ‘whole school’ figures.
  • Aspiration, inspiration and motivation are key elements needed when working with young people.
  • Powerful leadership and high quality teaching and learning, coupled with high quality target-setting, monitoring, guidance and support are the elements that define good schools and colleges.

Their latest judgement, made in recognition of sustained high performance over a three year period, puts Reepham College in the top 1% of post 16 providers nationally.

It is wonderful to receive this recognition; it represents a truly remarkable achievement and is testament to the efforts of students, the support of their parents, the skill of our staff and the strength of all other community connections with Reepham College.  It is worth noting that Reepham College students come from all over the county, and not just from Reepham High School, so it really is an accolade to students from many areas of Norfolk.

Headteacher Tim Gibbs and College Director Paul Beale would like to pass on their thanks and congratulations to students past and present, our college team, our parents and governors. They also recognise the contribution and support of prominent local businesses who regularly give up time to work alongside our students.

Most importantly, together we are giving students the foundations for a great range of exciting and prestigious opportunities for their future.

The College can be contacted at office@reephamcollege.com for further information and information on admissions.
