BBC Young Reporter 2019

Centred-Dark

BBC News School Report has been rebranded as BBC Young Reporters.

The student teams make the news and upload it to their school's dedicated page and then the  BBC link to the page via their interactive map.

This means that the news is accessible to a worldwide BBC audience. The BBC showcase the work of School Reporters across BBC programmes in the UK on News Day which is Thursday, 15 March 2018.

Reepham High School & College is taking part for the seventh consecutive year with a team of 16 x Year 9 reporters and a staff team of Miss Soanes, Miss Anderson, MS Lubbock and our BBC mentor Bob Carter.

For 2019, our dedicated BBC News School Report team of 16 Year 9s, delivered a report on the different aspects of health and well-being. This included topics on the NHS, veganism, mental health and mobile phones.

Our Schools

Synergy Multi-Academy Trust comprises fifteen Norfolk schools serving children between the ages of 2 and 18. Our schools work collaboratively together to raise standards and provide education of the highest possible standard, offering the best of opportunities for pupils. The Trust was initially established in 2015. We believe that all of our schools have strengths and areas to develop, and that all can improve through sharing expertise and wisdom. The Trust understands that there will be excellent practice in each school, and that every school will be able to contribute to the development of the Trust as a whole.
